In SmileMiles, each time a SmileStone is reached, it appears on the child’s Achievements page. Each child also has the option to add other personal achievements to this page for subsequent publication in their SmileSpace web page. Many kids love to record their thoughts either in private or for public view. This is not only a great way to improve typing, and foster self-expression, but also to record special moments. In the style of a “blog”, the SmileDiary allows daily or occasional entries to be recorded. These are private to each child unless they wish to make them public, and then only if their parents allow it. Unlike certain notorious websites, with SmileMiles parents have control over their child's publication at all times. Besides, the parents’ facility to upload a family picture to the family SmileMiles account, each child can upload pictures to their own gallery of SmilePix, one of these may be set as their account showcase picture.
